Port Aransas Whooping Crane Festival: Kicking Off Bird Festival Season on the Texas Coast

Every winter, the Texas coast quietly fills up with some of the most important birds in North America. The Port Aransas Whooping Crane Festival marks the start of bird festival season here, but it’s less about the schedule and more about paying attention.
