For the past several years, I’ve spent countless early mornings and hot afternoons wandering the bays, estuaries, beaches, and backroads of the Texas Coast chasing the birds that call this place home. Some stay year-round. Others show up on long migrations from thousands of miles away. Every single one of them has a story — and photographing those moments has become one of the great joys of my life.

My name is Jason David Page, and what started as a simple appreciation for wildlife has grown into a full obsession with birding and bird photography. I’ve logged thousands of local sightings, chased rarities, spent sunrise after sunrise with my camera pointed toward the water, brush, and skies, and met an incredible community along the way. Every time I share a photo — whether it’s a common backyard bird or a once-in-a-lifetime visitor — I’m reminded how much joy these birds bring to people.
